Rubber Compounds for Specific Rubber Roller Applications
Nitrile
General printing compound, good temperature and oil resistance, some resistance to solvents. Suitable for conductive formulations.
PVC Nitrile
Excellent for use with UV inks in printing applications, good resistance to swelling.
Natural
Good abrasion resistance, high elasticity and tensile strength.
Carboxilated Nitrile
Extremely good abrasive & temperature resistance, excellent in mechanical applications. Very tough rubber compound.
Silicone
Excellent resistance to high temperatures and very high release properties, low coefficient of friction. Good electrical insulation properties.
Polyurethane
Resistant to many solvents, excellent abrasion resistance, high strength, resistance to low & high temperatures, good electrical insulating properties.
Electrostatic Assist
Electrostatic assist allows improved print quality. Our compounds have been formulated to give the best mechanical life and excellent electrical stability.
Teflon
Outstanding release and excellent resistance to corrosive chemical solvents. Good insulation from high temperatures.
Silicone & EPDM Blend
Excellent release and temperature properties combined with the good mechanical solvent resistance properties of EPDM.
Rilsan
Very good chemical resistance, good impact resistance. Excellent surface finish therefore better transfer of ink, long service life.
Viton
Extremely high temperature, solvent and chemical resistance.
Neoprene
Good abrasion, flame, heat-aging resistance. Good resistance to certain oils and solvents.
Hypalon
Good mechanical, chemical, abrasive and temperature (approx 150 degrees) resistant compound. Good electrical insulating properties.
Anti-static Grades
Anti-static compounds reduce static charge build up. Eliminates sudden and dangerous discharge.
E.P.DM
Excellent solvent and temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, good electrical insulating properties. Primarily used in coating applications.
